Warm Up:  List some causes of error when you take measurements.  Then come up with ways to minimize them.

Objective:  SWBAT understand how to estimate answers and how to write a formal lab writeup

Warm Up:  Pick up one handout.  How many breathes would the average dog take in its lifetime?

Objective:  SWBAT review measurements and error.

Warm Up:  Pick up two handouts.  How are absolute and relative error related?

Objective: SWBAT understand the importance of units, dimensional analysis and estimating error in science.

Warm Up: Pick up one handout, one safety test, and your scantron. On a separate sheet of paper copy the questions you got wrong AND give the correct answer AND the reason for the correct answer. Staple your corrections to your scantron.

Objective: SWBAT review safety procedures in the lab and take the safety test.

Warm Up: Place signed papers in separate piles on the back table in the class.

Find a partner and determine one thing that you should NOT do in a science class during a lab.

Welcome back to another school year!

Objective:  SWBAT familiarize themselves with the AP Physics C course, what we will be learning this year, and what is expected of them this year.

Warm Up:  Pick up 9 handouts.  (Yes, 9 handouts!!) Have a seat where you will learn best.
